Wanted - Engraving job: Lords Prayer on a caped bust half dollar...

Greetings all,

It's been a while since I've posted here. I've been quite ill and can't do much of anything though I occasionally still sell work on eBay as I'm able. I no longer take custom work.

Recently a gentleman inquired about having the Lords prayer engraved on a half dollar. I'm posting here incase anyone is interested in the job.

I will ask for some more contact information from him so communication can take place.

Andy, like others have said I am sorry to hear you are not well. I also want to say that while we don't know one another your posts have been valuable to me and several are book marked reference....not only to admire your art but when you have asked for help and you were able to ask questions that are well thought out and they are thorough and by thread's end it has become another bookmarkworthy reference that benefits everyone. Hi Andy. I was contacted by someone wanted the Lord's prayer engraved on a half dollar as well. Not sure it was a bust half, but it may have been. I quoted him $3 per letter and he seemed shocked at the price. I'm too slow to make any profit engraving it for less, but perhaps someone can.

Poor guy... I don't think he understands that that much lettering would be so costly... As Sam said, even at $3 a letter, which is reasonable for hand engraving, comes out to alota dough.
