Doc in his 2005 Chevy SSR

I saw the picture of the Vette and figured I'd post a photo of my 2005 Chevy SSR (Super Sport Roadster). Mine has a 425 HP LS2 Corvette engine in it (not completely stock).

Seeing all of those cars in the photos made me think of the fun I had zipping around in my roadster this past summer. My wife took this picture on the fourth of July weekend at the Rising Sun, Indiana car show.

Adder, I would sure like to hear more about your pictures. Looks like your hunting on cross country skis. I have hunted and traped a lot with snow shoes. Even brought them with when I moved to So Georgia. just in case. I don't recognize the animal and fish. Looks like a moose call in your hand. Beautiful Children! Fred

I just hate pictures of me

These will have to do.
First is one where I had just stapped in our Chief Test Pilot on the F-22 in preparation for a test flight before it gets painted gray. Next is just a goof off shot where I'm about to tear into that little PT-22 behind me and inspect it. Next is with a dear friend who was in the same POW camp with Pappy Boyington and Louis Zamperini at Ofuna and Omori Japan, and finally me and the same man about to go around the patch. Same plane.

what is that white thing tucked under the front of the canopy on the f22?
Do you mess with planes that don't have 22 in the name?

So someone might say Hi at the FEGA Show

First one is my wife and I about a month ago...The second is a few months before we met in the Air Force. We were both Air Traffic Controllers.

Those are thrusters that blow the canopy up and backward during ejection. And, yes I mess with em' all, everything built since the late 30's.

Yes it is(Capercaille), and they are hard to find and hunt. I think that you have in average 30 days of hunting before you get one. In my case I have been hunting about 100 days after those birds, and I have only got 3 of them. In the wintertime they usually laying under the snow, and they are only up in the trees to feed a couple of hour now and then. After they are filled, they go under the snow, often for several days before feeding again.

The Black Grouse i a little bit easier to hunt only because there is more of them.

It would be good for us that are relatively new to see some of the masters in their shop. I would like to see how they set up their shop so work is done smoothly. I would especially like to see someone working on a rifle barrel.
