I believe I read somewhere that the lowest cost H&H was $140,000 to start They only build a few a year and expenses must be met in some way.

I believe H&H still produce over seventy guns a year, I still have the order notes for the very early guns, at that time Geoff Brooks and then Russell Wilkin where factory managers, Geoff is now retired and Russell part retired as I think he goes into the shop side of things once a week.
For those that haven't visited the factory it was custom built in the early 1800's and is BIG!
