This frieze will go over a window, just around the corner from the elephant. Some awkwardness in the scrollwork, a few curls didn't turn out as intended... it's 5' wide and 8" high, Indiana limestone.

To the left and right of the love birds are two 5-petal rosettes. The outer rosettes are on stems that curl around them, and that have a branch of the stem splitting off from the main branch. Also another bit of branch comes down from above from the leaves hitting it. I don't like how those are working, the flow isn't right, but I don't have the material to turn them into buds or curls. If I cut them off, the area is kind of empty, so I'll probably just leave them.

Another piece of the project. Heavy rains hereabouts yesterday, gave us a chance to see how the gargoyle handled it all...
