Is this fading the design out syle something that is usually only done with english scrollwork. I haven't seen it done much besides on Churchill's work. (hope you don't mind me drawing on your work Phil)

I don't know if it's just an English, or to be more correct, a British thing 
I have tried just about everything, including the traditional Italian scene with no border around the plates.
Producing Soooo many scenes and scroll designs over all these years, I am always looking for something different to do, it make things more interesting, in fact it's becoming more difficult finding things that haven't been done
