Last week's Advanced Class engraving project at GRS. I had a great group of students and it was a great way to end to year 17 of teaching there.

An excellent design/engraving project for students Sam, which also covers many techniques, needless to say expertly done!

most teachers "can't do it". most that "can do it", can't teach. sam, you're an endangered species. you not only can do it, you can teach it as well ! a rare quality these days. thanks for showing, and thanks for all you have done for the engraving community.

Well, here I am, standing barefoot. Just knocked my socks off with that close-up of the engraving and sculpting. Bravo!

Bold, yet elegant. As I have said before, I like the way you leave the planishing marks in your relief. It shows the hand in the work. Well done!
