The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is offering a beginner's one-week "Hand Engraving Fundamentals" class. Two sessions upcoming - July 10-14 and Sept. 11-15. For more info, www.gia.edu , click on the "Alumni" tab, click on "Continuing Education and scroll down to find the classes. Also, the following week is a 3-day "Engrave Your Loupe" class.
