Visit museum Grand Cursius Liege

And to think they did all that beautiful work without microscopes, highspeed steel and air assist.

Indeed some of these engravings are absolutely super high end. Most european engravers still use these old methods, Loupe, push graver, hammer and chisel and some of them still make these high end stuff.
