Smith & Wesson has donated this custom engraved 1911 pistol to the USA Shooting Team with all proceeds supporting teams preparation for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The gun is being auctioned at the following sight.

Nice looking pistol.

But it does bring up the question concerning whether the shooting matches will actually take place in Britain because of their gun laws, especially the pistol matches.
Perhaps our British friends could comment.

Fred,Read an article about the Olympic shooting matches in Britain and it was'nt about the laws,it was about keeping the children from going to Olympic games because of the guns.I sent the article to Scott,maybe he'll post it so everyone can understand the crazy laws in the British Isles.J.J.
