I just purchased an HP photosmart 6520 for doing transfers. I also purchased a pack of Pictorico transparency film. when I print off a pattern and try to transfer it using acetone nothing happens. Anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong? This is how I always made transfers in the past using a Kodak printer and cheap Office Depot film.

Acetone is for use when transferring laser toner from paper. I have no clue how you were able to achieve this with an inkjet and plastic transparencies.

You need to use one of the available products to pull the ink from the transparency onto your workpiece. They are all sticky. As mentioned, use the search engine to find these.
