If not for you , I would not have attempted this kind of work.
Here are a couple of small pieces of English scroll. There are some mistakes but they are getting to be fewer. Don't know if I'd call it "Fine" English yet but I love this type of engraving. As a jeweler it suits me. It's extremely relaxing to cut.
I do think I may have gotten a bit small on the two smaller ones. Question is, are the flaws that exist acceptable to the naked eye. Not that I'm satisfied at this stage.
Learning new things about this every time I cut.
Now to try and fill a bordered space.

English Scrolls

Layne, I believe your off to a really good start those English scrolls look great. Marcus's book and DVD's are a must for anyone interested in English scrolls.Keep us posted.:thumbsup: J.J.
