Copper, Sword Sheath, a current project.

L= 360mm T=1.5mm,
looking for a blade.

Anyone here would like to offer a balde for this. or any design, ideals?

I can't tell if the ruler is centimeters or inches, but if centimeters, with that round profile, a walking cane/sword would work beautifully. The sheath would need a tip, to avoid damaging the end, and the cane could have a handle that carried the design elements. The blade on the ones I've seen are generally square or round, and conceal nicely.

Wonderful work, by the way. My wife loves dragons and was impressed with yours.

Hi Will.
Charles said in the first picture it was 360mm, a little over 14 inches if my math is right.
Beautiful piece of work, Charles, thank you for sharing it.
Was it all worked from from one side only?
What I would like to see is the back side where the pattern meets and joins.
Is the joint butted and soldered?
Hope you don't mind the questions, Charles.
Best regards.

Somehow missed that.

I have a "riding crop" from Saudi that has a 12-13" stilleto blade inside. That would work, or a 'swagger stick'.

Will,

Walking cane sword ! that's a good ideal. but i may will try to follow it.
For Length, it is about 14 inch.
and in fact it is about 16 inch, including the margins @ two ends.
and the inside diameter is 1.5 inch

Yes, may add a round tips, or flat cover at two ends. it depends on.

i prefer to design it without any more big modification. just base on this tube. cut it into two pces, one for handle, one for sheath.... and cover with some fit tips....

Really happy that, you and your wife like it. most welcome. haha :yes
