sterling buisness card holder

This is a sterling buisness card holder I did for my Client. I found out he was going to be in town only a few days ago, so I only had a couple of evenings after work to draw it and cut it. Looks a lot better at arms length than it does up close.

Sterling seemd to have kind of a ragged edge and kind of a ridge on the edge of the cuts, that I don't have with steel or brass practice stuff. Is that just the nature of the material or just my lack of experience, or graver geometry?
