When you place this in your vise, what do you place in the mag well, if anything to keep it from deforming the mag well? Same question about the dust cover area....Very nice by the way. My fravorite type of firearm, but yet to engrave one.

Shouldn't be cranking down on the vice enough to deform the mag well. Right?

this may answer your question?? in the parts mentioned introduce pressure steel (steel that piece only serves to not close or mistreat the frame

i use soft wood or aluminium in vise
