Silver ring with blue topaz

Hallo

As some of you may know by now, Arnaud is teaching me the art of engraving and the art of goldsmithing.

Here is a silver ring I finished. The central stone is a blue topaz. The little stones around are swarovkis. The ring was completely forged, not casted.

Jeroen, you are a great student.
As this is you first forged ring with stone setting, you may be proud of it. It may look easy at first to make one like this, but you had to take care of several problems on your way, so most important on this one was what you learned from it, and I’m sure you did.

If I would have known it would have finished this good, I would have let you make it in gold with diamonds.
