Announcement: Silent air compressor

For those of you with Sil-aire val aire, etc. compressors, don't take the bowels off of the water/oil traps :eek:, as the seal will grow when you do :eek:, and they are close to impossible to put back. :mad: I now have a new bowel on order. :eek: Lesson learned! :(

Bruce: I've had mine off the water filter at least 50 times in the seven years i've owned it. Never had any trouble with the o-ring and still have the original?

That amazes me, Tim, because I'm pretty careful with things I haven't tried, and yet I cut the o-ring to pieces! I could not believe how much it expanded when I took the bowel off. it must have grown by .25 in at least!

ok, Bruce, i gotta ask- do you mean "bowl" or is this more than we care to know about your 'system'?
