What I learned from this, and I love the Canon Powershot more and more as I get fast use to it, is that for macro photos a cheap cam like the Canon Powershot SX120 IS does the job as good as a, expensive digital reflex with a 2000$ lens.
This cam is able to measure the white balance, and all other setting can be done manually. I use f8 with 60/sec without a tripod. love it.
And of course, no matter what cam one uses, also PS is a must.
