Hello friends,
I was playing around with sculpting a doodle idea in brass so I made this buckle and carved in low relief. I got the idea from a picture of a more elegant piece but couldn't find the image I had so made a simpler design.
The next project was to make a silver buckle of a rare historical piece, this was not a transfer but drawn out on the work piece and cut. I made it a normal belt buckle instead of the breast plate concept of the original plate. Quite a change of pace this week, lol.
Enjoy,
Mark

That is real nice. Reminds me of a buckle set produced in Mexico in the 30's in 14k. I will get it out tomorrow and see if I can get a picture. Fred
