Question: RinGenie with GRS 850 Rotary Handpiece

RinGenie Spec: 3/32 diameter hardened drill bushing

Can the RinGenie be used for milling with the GRS Ultra 850 rotary handpiece that uses burrs with a 1/16 inch diameter shaft?

1/16TH is smaller than 3/32, so I would assume yes

However, those small dental bits aren't very long so you may not have the lenght to reach the ring surface.

You'd probably be better off just using a foredom flexshaft. Plus the variety of sizes available in drills and burs is far greater.

Thanks for the reply. I was focusing on diameter. I hadn't thought about length.

Additional info: The reason I asked about the 850 is because I have one.
