I'm not really sure I understand the question but the 120 degree graver (newer style) is a 90 on top and 120 on the bottom. The jaws in the dual angle sharpener are also 90 and 120 degree. You just need to make sure you have the jaws and the tool correct. If you have it wrong, the tool may or may not seat right.
