Critique Request Pendant

HI, here is a pendant made from a half dollar. I pounded it flat (to about 1 1/2 inches in diameter) and cut the design with a 120 graver and used small flats to remove the back ground.

Pardon the less than best photo (reflections on bail) my camera decided to hate me today. I will try and make up with it as time goes on.

Any thoughts on this work would be appreciated as always.

That is nice Scott and looks well cut under high magnification.

My preference would be more shading such as on the heads of the tendrils.

Look nice,but you have lost parts of the backbone in the background removal i think ;)

Not lost mrthe, those were removed to cover the taxes due. The darkness is what is left as we don't know what good or mischief it will be put to.

Mrthe, I see what you mean, it looks better without the blowup. But I do see where one could say I over cut the back bone.

Thanks it was something I did not see.
