That's easily the most beautiful Darne I've ever seen, and I'm particularly drawn to your execution of the latch and trigger guard. Your friend is very fortunate. Does this one have a similarly beautiful piece of wood to with the metal?

thanks for posting such a work as you have done. there are those newcomers that seem to think fine work requires technology. your exquisite work would surely dispel that notion. i also like to see a gun that the owner would not fear taking out in the field for a day of enjoyment. this gun would surely survive a day in the field !
