Sebastian,

It is always good to see your latest work here. You have made amazing progress since you first posted here in 2008 as an engraving student. You had good teachers at the Berufsfachschule Büchsenmacher Suhl but you must have great talent and passion for engraving to make such tremendous progress. I'm sorry I missed meeting you in Suhl last year.

I especially like the large scroll on the shotgun above.

Your work is truly beautiful and perfectly executed. The floor plate engraving with the oak leaf and branch is a design that moves far forward of what is commonly seen with oak leaf. Most oak leaf designs I have seen overpower the overall scene, but you thoughtful executed design is a real plus to scene.
