I have a Winchester model 9422 22lr. It has a lot of engraving on it. Its on the receiver, lever and barrel rings. It looks great. The engraver name on it was J.A. Blansett. But I can't find any info on him. So I came here to ask the pros on how I can find info on him. Thanks

The name J.A. Blansett is completely unfamiliar to me. There are many people over the years who have only engraved a small number of guns and are unknown to the gun collecting and engraving communities. There are also many members of this forum who have engraved a few guns but for some reason choose to remain completely anonymous, known only by a cryptic screen name. Perhaps one of these is J.A. Blansett and will choose to identify themselves.
