Has anyone done one of these "babies" recently?
I saw some posts around 2008 and they were defined as hard to cut. (maybe NAA has used softer steel in more recent years?)
I can't decide weather to start one and have to give up or just enjoy one in "plain clothes" -

Thanks for any advice,

I did one about a month ago without issue.

If this is a "first" gun or you are new to firearms engraving, I suggest staying away from all stainless firearms till you develop excellent graver control and fully understand how to adjust your graver geometry to help cut very hard metal.
