I can give you a bit of advise I hope will help. On your cursive(diane & gary}, watch the inside shape of the letters, like the a's. Keep those inside areas round and flowing, no corners. Keep that in mind with all the letters and you should notice instant improvement.

All the rest look great, keep at it.

For 2 months of engraving, you are doing very good! It appears you have very good tool control and obviously you've learned very well how to sharpen and polish your gravers. Nice work!

The family gifts do eat up some time. Generally, they have no idea how much you put into it. But if they love it, it feels worth the effort.
