My First Hobo Nickel - with thanks to MrThe

Using the excellent video MrThe uploaded a while back (http://www.engraverscafe.com/showthread.php?14890-Video-How-to-carve-a-Hobo-Nickel-Skull), I decided to try my hand at Hobo Nickel carving, and here is the result.:hammer:



I chose to just make a copy of MrThe's nickel for my first attempt to limit the new stuff I would have to learn on the fly, so (just in case someone is wondering) it isn't for sale and will just disappear into the black hole of my engraving box.

Thank you, Paulo! Your video was excellent instruction, and provided everything I needed to get started in nickel carving! Here's hoping your upcoming DVD sales hit a million!

Now I have to hunt up MrThe's photography tutorial and learn how to take decent pictures of these things...:biggrin:
