Best wishes on the season to all the engraving artist members! Thought I would start a purely fun thread and ask if folks would share their favorite music to engrave by, and their current favorites. Right now for general engraving I'm loving J.S. Bach's unaccompanied cello suites by Yo Yo Ma, and when western bright cutting Dwight Yoakam, old school C&W and rockabilly, and traditional Celtic. Whats yours?

Well, just before I switched over to listen to the titans loose again, I think the last three were Willie Nelson, Enanessence, and Rush. I've been called seriously confused.

What a fun choice!

I can add to that list a bit of Finntroll - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkVwA__Fk9g and other Nordic "Folk" metal like Korpiklaani, Eluveite etc.

But also psychedelic trance (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXP_ITkd0UY), trip-hop, ambient and classical (currently Beethoven, Tshaikovksy and friends) too.

Jumbled musical selections for a jumbled brain: Tommy Jarrell, Swallow the Sun, The Expendables, and Roy Acuff. Finntroll was in last month's rotation

Wow, there is quite a variety of music choices that folks work to, and here is my contribution.
I have a diverse selection playing in my work shop today from AC-DC, the Bellamy Brothers, Dave Stamey, Chuck Berry, the Eagles , Flogging Molly, Mumford and Sons, the Platters, Van Morrison, and quite a few more.
So basically anything that sounds good to me at the time.

I have a mix on the iPod that shuffles Celtic, pub songs, Cash, Dylan, Sinatra, Folk, Beatles, and bluegrass. Love it!

My i-pod contains about 2,300 CDs, sticked to the Bose player in the random shoveling mode. 75% Classical, Baroque, Medieval, and Ancient music, the rest are old Jazz and various folk music from around the world.
