Modifying the work sharp 3000 for gravers

Attached are some photos of my workshop 3000 that I modified to raise the cutting surface 1/2 inch above the table, which the graver sharpening jigs were set up for. The riser is turned from a piece of 1 inch aluminum and a rubber washer was added to keep the wheel from slipping.
Sorry about the order of the photographs and the web site shuffled the order that they were in

thank you,is interesting but very hard to see the modification from the point of view used to take the photos ;)

it is just the stepped aluminum about 1 inch in diameter and about 1 inch tall.
a regular graver hone is pricey , a work sharp is around $199
