Here is my latest piece. The stainless was the hardest I have cut. I hope Uberti hasn't changed permanently. I started with a brand new cmax and started a second when the first was too short.

You did a beautiful job on this gun. I also engrave allot of stainless and since I have applied the advice on a recent post about only going to 1200 to grind even the heal I have found that my gravers are lasting much longer and cutting smoother. I do not know how far you go to polishing your gravers but this would be worth a try

I tried 600, 1200, ceramic and cast iron as stopping points. 600 worked the best on this one. Used the 105 easy graver fixture to speed sharpening.

Nice job. Maybe next time try 120' graver with 55' face. That's been my go to config on really stubborn metals.

Nice work, Beathard. The layout is nice and I like your signature script style with the dark background. I saw that same style on your derrenger set that you did a while back. Very nice.

Someone in the Navy is going to love that! My son is career Navy in the Naval Intelligence division. I know how much that will be appreciated. Keep up the good work, my friend.
