Hi,
your work is very nice. but in my opinion its better to do a inlay of shibuishi for the waves and the koi in silver and inlay the silver flower in the shibuishi.
Silver is mutch better to wear and has no corosion like the shibuishi.
The most people will wear the dogtag never again when they have grey strains of the shibuishi on the shirt

Hello,
And thank you for your comment that I will consider.
It's true that I did not think to this kind of problem. This is a first test shibuichi, and I especially wanted to see what it could give. Eventually, I will wish to make decks for knife.
Thank you again for your comments.
Sincerely

Could you explain how you went from the polished finish to the satined? finish?

Hello,
I used the traditional Japanese way for polishing.
Using stone 150 until 1200. Finish paper 3000, once the surfaces are planar.
But after reflection, I think it should go down a little grain, so that the surface takes better patina.
