Jo,

You are knocking the ball right out of the park, superb work!

Celtic designs will not work without flawless geometry, never mind how good the art ideas are, but just looking at your work shows how well you master both! Very inspiring to follow your career, and you never disappoint.

Thank you

Rod

And I'm loving every single minute Rod.

After all, there aren't many career options which allow you to work, and listen to Scooby Doo in the background. ;)
Maybe that's the secret! :)

Thanks again,

Jo

How do you get the pattern to the watch Jo, do you draw it directly with pencil or do you transfer?
Looks to me it is a lot of work to layout these patterns, especially when it has to be done directly on the watch

Willem,

For the bigger pieces, like the back, I transfer.
The complexity of the designs are too high risk to chance making a mistake. And even with the transfer it's not full proof!

The rest I tend to free-hand... when I'm feeling brave! :)

Yes Jo
I love to listen to old Star Trek movies while I engrave. Makes me feel like I am not totally alone however no one interrupts me either.
Again nice watch. I have been working on a few watches my self very difficult but fun to see the outcome.
