Is this a Ben Shostle engraving?

Hi All,

Can anyone tell if this engraved revolver is actually done by Ben Shostle? The style seemed off from the other engraved by him.

Thanks. Also, is the quantity of engraving worth the $2000 they are asking?

They are asking $4,000. Hard to say, a NIB Python will bring over $2,000. Ben was a well known engraver but among Colt collectors factory engraving means everything. It's probably in the ballpark. I'm not an appraiser so others here may have a better idea of the value.

Also, the Python is the Colt with the most factory engraved guns, so they are easier to find than most other models.
