Here's a couple pieces that I finished or very close anyway. A 5/8" wide sterling silver bracelet that was a last minute something to do on New Years eve ...... yes, can you say boring! I drew one half in pencil, cut, transfer to the other end, cut and then shade.
The other piece is a curly maple walking staff with a steel tip and sterling silver cap with a 1940 silver dollar bezel set. A little carving and it's almost finished, another coat or two oil, then wax and final polish.
Enjoy, any comments or critique is welcome.

VERY nice work Mark. I like the cane and bracelet very much. What gauge is the bracelet if I may ask. It has a nice thickness to it.

No more silver dollars in '40, but those Walking Liberty halves are nice coins:cool:

LOL, thanks Dave, you'd really enjoy the more gentlemanly stick I own. It is a sucker from my chestnut tree about an 1" at the top with a steel tip that tapers to apoint. The top is a bronze casting of a cane head a friend of mine had produced for Ft. Ticonderoga, don't remember the particulars. I did up the waxes with the engraving needed and this was the trade. The head alone feels like a pound. It would be a nice attention getter if one were to venture to the local water'n hole.
