GRS Knife fixture?

Does anyone have experience with the GRS Knife vise fixture. Doesn't seem to be in the catalog anymore but I know they are available here and there.
I have heard that they are obviously not the ideal thing for very high end knives but it seems like a nice solution for workday knives like the Spiderco for instance.
I'd love to hear input on this tool. I've seen them for years and figured if it's worth having I'd get one while they are still around.

The fixture was developed by BPE and marketed by GRS. Fred

BPE makes most of the plastic times sold at GRS. They are both in Emporia, Kansas. The owner of BPE, Bob Finley, is an instructor at GRS and a friend of Don snd DJ, the founders of GRS.
