great time at engrave-in

Had a blast this weekend. I got to meet some great people. Thank you Scott for having all of us. and I want to thank Mr Joe Mason for letting me tag along and for also taking a newbie under his wing. Without him I would not have been able to attend the engrave-in. I picked up some good tips and made new friends. Thanks to all the seasons engravers for being so nice and willing to share there knowledge.

I really was amazed at how the big dogs in the engraving world were down home folks. I was a bit nervous as how I would fit in . I got there and and it was almost like I had known these guys and gals for years. They welcomed me in there conversions, and joked around. Thanks guys

Thanks Scott, I had a great time. My head is still spinning from all the fine engraving I saw. I learned a lot and got to meet everyone in person finally. I cant wait until the next one. Maybe will bring my first engraved gun this time! Thanks again to all that answered my questions and got me all fired up to hit the bench!

I'm so glad me and the wife made it out there and got to meet everyone. I'm still in awe of all the great engraving and marks great powder horns were definitely an inspiration. I have not put my new book from rogers tailgate down. Everyone had great work and was so willing to let you pick it up and explain things. Plus the food was awesome.
