Here are some pictures of it. I did this under the scope with diamond wheels and polishers. I don't know the exact angles. I don't thin k it matters that much. Essentially it makes the corner a graver of a wide geometry.
Ed, I normally do this with a flat with good results. but the edges aren't so clean as you said. I think yolu could do something similar making a 120 or 110 make it large and then just cut away all but a little on one side. Thnis would probably be similar. This was just an experiment.
