That is pretty amazing stuff. Such fine detail. Absolutely beautiful.

This guy works in stone (agate I assume) in the classic tradition of using tiny metal wheels charged with various abrasives on a long mandrill in a bench mounted lathe. Very difficult to master, as he has obviously done! Superb work. I'd love to be able to work with materials that large so I could create these detailed scenes.
