Engraving my first Spyderco knife, sculpture technique

Hello all. I was going to wait until I was done to post anything about this, but I'm really pleased with how it's turning out. I'm putting the skills I learned from Sam Alfano's Deep Relief Sculpture Engraving video to good use. The skull is about 1.125" tall. The scrolls will be standard line cut shading. I'll post pictures later in this thread when done, but let me know what you guys think so far. It looks better in person, but the picture is still pretty cool too.

Here's the concept drawing. I changed the scroll work a little, and reversed it because I wanted the knife clip on a certain side.

pretty cool looking work you show. the scroll growing from the skull is a unique way to show the origin of the scroll.
