Just spent a week in New Orleans learning new stuff from our benevolent dictator (Sam)- don't know if it's possible to have too much fun, but we came awfully close!:beerchug:

Nice work Catharine. You can't get a better guy to learn from. Looks like he showed you a few tricks. Your work just keeps on improving keep it up.

Hey Cloudy, looks like you stepped it up a notch and branched into other areas. The design in the first picture looks contoured. Just wondering if you used an 850 rotary tool? Been wanting one myself to use with my woodcarving. Hope to see you again at next years Engrave-In, I enjoyed talking to you and learning from you.:)

Cloudy, these things are looking good! I have tried the "lumenesque" scrolls, too, but mine doesn't look good as half :)
Regards, Mario.

Very nice work, Catherine.
The sculpture you did on the copper plate will look GREAT on one of your planes.
And I bet you had almost too many good times with Sam and Abigail.
They are such fun folks and a joy to be around.
Best.

Sam took a chance on me when I was wandering in the wilderness trying to reinvent the wheel on my own. I had a one on one week with him, he grabbed me by the ear and threw me into the deep end.

Thanks, Sam!
