Engraved & inlayed Lake folder

Hi Folks,

Here's a little, delicate Lake folder I recently finished engraving for a client.
I cut the pattern, relieved it & did the flush gold inlay in the conventional manner...using wire. Afterward I then outlined it & then I sculpted the gold using a technique taught by Winston Churchill during his second Grand Masters class at GRS. Winston didn't use gold, however, he taught the delicate sculpting method using smooth faced punches...I thought the technique would work on gold & here's how it turned out!
Quite challenging & you definitely have to stay within the lines on this!
