I dont care much for English scroll but that is Gorgeous!! The shading on the leaves and flowers is excellent. How did you do the shadows around the leaves and flowers?

Hi herman thanks for the comment, to make shadows i just do small lines around the leaves or flowers. I cross the lines to make the shadows more or less dark and that´s it.

Wonderful looking job on the scroll, I try and only seem to go in circles but then I haven't tried very much. Please post when complete, I also like the lift you've given the flowers with your shading.

I really like they way you use the English scroll as an almost dropped background behind the flowers.

I know it's not dropped but the way you did the shading makes it look layered.

I can't see how the design & execution could be better.
I'm not a big fan of English Scroll; but I do like what you've done here.
As has been said it's the person behind the work who makes the difference.
Kevin P,
