Day of the Dead Knife engraving

I never thought i would have a client send a knife to coop for photos this soon in my engraving career. The theme is "Dias de los muertos" aka Day of the dead.

Thanks for the info.

I do know the difference between bronze and brass. But it is a bit difficult to translate using Google.

Over here we have brons and yellow copper.

Bronze = brons = copper and tin
Brass = yellow copper = copper and zinc

Monk,The design is not that strange,Day of the Dead is a holiday celebated in Mexico by the Mexican people were they set aside a day to put flowers on the graves of there loved ones.J.J.

J.J. thanks for the info. I suppose they have more holidays than I know about. Over here we have two holidays to celebrate the dead, allerheiligen en allerzielen. (all saint and all souls)

Arnaud just because i'm curious because i was born in the day that in Italy we celebrate the day of the Death ( Cool!!!) that is the 2 of november the 1 of november is all saints , but we not celebrate death in this day... well... in Belgium wich days are all saints snd all souls?

P.S.
In USA you don't have a day of the death?

mrthe, same here, 1 nov. is all saints, 2 nov is all souls.
of course we have same hollidays, as the Vatican too ruled here. It still does but a bit less now a days.
