Cut with a slightly rounded flat. Then hammered the texture using a handpiece and brushed with a steel rotating brush. Then polished the highlights on the buffer and finally anodized them at 8.50 volt.
All made out of Ti sheet.
Beautiful work as always. You mentioned everything was made from sheet. Would it have been more efficient to turn the rings from round stock on a lathe?
Beautiful set Arnaud, everything that comes out of your hands always is absolutly first class!
The stonesetting, did you rub it in or did you use an airtool to punch it in because of the hardness of Ti?
Beautiful Arnaud,
Do you use a tube of Ti ore do you make the rings from a strip en use a puck for soldering? The look is very nice structure, greetings Caty.
Thanks all
Cowboy, I don’t know if it would be more efficient to turn the ring on a lathe. The profile height is 1.5mm, perhaps not that obvious to turn on a lathe. Anyway, doing it my way is quite fast.
Willen, I just use a small hammering punch I made that fits the handpiece of the EnSet. I can hammer one hit at a time remember.
Caty, no way to solder Ti, just use a PUK to weld it.
Very nice rings Arnaud. you have inspired me with your Titanium rings so much that I just received my PePe ring bender and I am going to start to make my own rings. Thanks for all you have done
