Astounding. As an old school jeweler, I sometimes feel like I'm still using a horse and carriage while others are going to the moon. I wonder if it can be plugged into a CAD program. I really hope there is still a need for guys like me in the future! With laser 3d printers that print in metal, how long will it be before you step up to the counter and your ring is printed out in the back while you wait? I do think there will always be a segment of consumers who appreciate hand crafted items no matter how far technology advances. And some of it has made my job and life at the bench a lot nicer and more efficient.
