sterling and a bit of brass overlay

My computer is down so I'm looking at this with a cell and it's tough to make out. Did you manipulate the edges of the brass to sculpt it? Nice work Shawn. Keep em coming.

nothing special about these. just a plain brass overlay.

One thing I am wondering is the black background on the brass overlay, might look nicer if the silver would show trough.

I might try that at some point.
it would take a little bit of effort to polish the inside of the overlay after soldering. maybe another design would be better to work with.
instead of a high polish a guy could stipple the inside or even frost it.

the edge is bright cut.
the leather in the back ground is from a good friend of mine.

I guess polishing would be a lot of extra work, probably look real sharp.
