Ron Skaggs, "predator and prey"

The knives which are in a collection of a good friend of mine were engraved by Ron Skaggs.

The engraving was most likely completed in the early "90's"and the engraving theme is called "Predator and Prey."

The knives are a Loveless "drop point "hunter and a "semi-skinner."

They are "long bolstered " knives and the handles have hidden pins.

Ron is a great guy. I worked with him at Josten's, a company that used to make Super Bowl and World Series rings, medallions, and anything else made out of precious metals. Ron ran the art department. Even as far back as 1975 he was a genius. He engraved my name on a Ruger, and I think that he charged me $25. I'd really like to hear of his history since the old days. I just can't say enough about his down to Earth personality, and his raw talent.
