Another small job

I did an awful lot of small engraving jobs this Christmas season, most made it out of the shop before I got a pic taken. Lots of outside lettering etc. This little item is on the back of a chromed Zippo. The young lady was giving it to her Father in a belated Christmas celebration. Bid $40 and completed the job in just under an hour, including transfer etc. $40 is my hourly rate, so did OK.
My New Years resolution is to keep the existing levels of inventory in the store, while adding new designs that cost more, more gold, better stones, and better engravings. It is awfully hard to get by on small sales even though they are the bread and butter of the business, but we have added a lot of new customers, many who have stated a desire to have us do more custom pieces. Onward and Upward to the New Year and a more prosperous future.
