I agree with Sam W. The style displayed is known as "blackleaf" or in German speaking countries as Altdeutscher Laubgravur (old German leaf engraving). Note: The shotgun in the picture was engraved by Rudolph J. Korbrath (1877-1946).

Morris usually has a great display at the Sporting Arms section of the Beinfeld show, just around the corner from where the FEGA tables will be and he always has a good number of engraved items. And he and his wife are very pleasant people!
