here's a nickel silver sheath I've been engraving for Curt Erickson. The circle at the top is where Curt will solder the button. Any comments or critique is welcome.

Very, very nice work... and nickel is not all that easy to inlay into - getting it to stay put, but without scarring the surface.

I'm just wondering why you would put heat on it after all that engraving. It that black paint? Won't it cause problems?
